GCC Municipal Work Conference in Riyadh discusses 6 themes, including promoting city development

<The 12th edition of the Gulf Municipal Work Conference, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh from October 6 to 8 under the theme “Sustainable Municipal Work ... Ambitions and Challenges”, will discuss 6 strategic axes related to Gulf municipal work issues and current challenges in the sector. The first theme focuses on “Planning and Urban Design as a key pillar in the sustainability of municipal work, where the conference sessions in this aspect will address the role of modern technology in developing sustainable urban planning and design processes, the importance of legislation in achieving sustainability of municipal work, in addition to strategies to preserve water resources in cities, and the most prominent models and successful practices in this field will be reviewed.

The second theme, ”Sustainable Municipal Economy“, focuses on the importance of sustainable municipal work in supporting economic growth and its impact on the economy, the available municipal investment opportunities and their role in promoting a sustainable economy, and the diversification of funding sources for municipal projects while reviewing successful applied practices in the field of sustainable municipal work and their impact on economic growth.
