This came during the inauguration ceremony of the projects organized by Al-Jouf Municipality in Sakaka. .

His Highness blessed the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone for the new municipal projects that come as an extension of the support of the wise leadership to enhance the quality of life and development programs in the region, pointing out that the standard of progress and development of cities is measured by the municipal organization, whether in parks, roads or the urban landscape. .

For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing said in his speech on this occasion: What we are witnessing today is the inauguration and laying of the foundation stone of strategic and pioneering projects worth more than one billion Saudi riyals, which includes ongoing projects worth more than 602 million riyals, and others completed in 2023 worth 131 million riyals, in addition to laying the foundation stone of 42 projects worth more than 300 million riyals. 300 million riyals, as well as handing over a number of housing units to beneficiaries and signing community partnerships, representing a living reflection of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and a direct link to the ministry's work represented by the secretariats, which seeks to make our cities sustainable urban hubs that enhance the well-being of citizens and provide an integrated urban environment.

He added: The investment contracts worth more than 256 million riyals signed in 2023-2024, which exceeded 875 contracts, reflect our firm belief in the importance of partnership with the private sector in advancing development.

During the ceremony, the portal was launched, housing units were handed over to beneficiaries, community partnership agreements were signed, and a number of entities were honored.
