“Emaar Materials supports Dar Al-Hikma University in Jeddah with scholarships for architecture students

Complementing the role and plans of the Construction Materials Company and its plan to support leading educational institutions inside and outside the Kingdom, the company, represented by the “Building and Hope” sector of the Construction Materials Company (CPC), signed a memorandum of understanding with Dar Al-Hikma University in Jeddah, which aims to support scholarships for female students of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, allocate a hall to display Construction Materials Company products for use in the educational process, and arrange field visits for students to visit the company's industrial complex in Bahra.

<On this occasion, Dr. Faisal Ibrahim Al Akil, Director of the Business Development Department and head of the “Building and Hope” sector associated with the social responsibility activity, said: ”The cooperation with the university is a good opportunity to get to know the students of the Department of Architecture and Interior Design: ”Cooperation with the university is a good opportunity to learn more about Dar Al-Hikma University and its achievements, and we are honored to include it in the list of scholarships that CPC offers to universities, and this is not the first initiative in cooperation with Al-Hikma University.”

Dr. Faisal Ibrahim Al Akil, Director of Business Development and Head of the "Build and Hope" sector related to the company's CSR activity, said In the same context, Dr. Suhair Hassan Al-Qurashi explained that cooperation with leading local companies will contribute to providing more educational opportunities for Dar Al-Hikma students, which will increase the university's opportunities to embrace creative female students and enable practical and educational opportunities for women to enter the business world with confidence."

It is worth mentioning that Construction Materials Company has adopted a strategy of supporting universities in disciplines that are interested in the company's products, as it has supported Effat University, the research of Dar Al-Hikma University students, training students of King Abdulaziz University, supporting the knowledge enrichment programs at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, supporting the American University in Cairo, and the programs of the American University of Sharjah.
