39 neighborhoods in Riyadh and Medina will benefit from the Real Estate Registry starting November 24

The General Real Estate Authority the start of real estate registration for (90,804) parcels across (37) neighborhoods in the city of Riyadh, and (3,038) real estate parcels in parts of the Al-Qubaybah and Abu Sudr neighborhoods in Madinah, starting November 24, 2024, and continuing through February 27, 2025.
The Authority clarified that the neighborhoods benefiting from Land Registry At this stage, it includes the following neighborhoods in the city of Riyadh: (part of Al-Khair, Al-Suwaidi, Sultana, Al-Duraimiyah, Al-Ma’athar, Al-Sharafiyah, Umm Al-Hamam Al-Sharqi, Umm Al-Hamam Al-Gharbi, Al-Badi’ah, Al-Arijah, Al-Amal, Thulaym, Al-Fawta, Sakirina, Manfouha, Ma’kal, Umm Salim, Al-Oud, Al-Yamamah, Al-Wusita, Salam, Al-Washam, Jabra, Al-Batiha, Atiqa, Al-Salhiya, Al-Duweiba, Al-Qura, Al-Shumaisi, Ghubaira, Sayyah, Al-Jaradiyah, Al-Murqab, Al-Dahou, New Manfouha, Al-Dira, and Al-Rafiah).

The Authority stated that the neighborhoods were selected based on specific criteria, and that the remaining regions, governorates, and neighborhoods that will undergo real estate registration in various parts of the Kingdom will be announced in due course.
The Real Estate Authority noted that initial property registration in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa, or through service centers, noting that on-site registration requires a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements to complete the registration process.
The Authority called on property owners in the regions and neighborhoods subject to physical registration to verify their title deeds and ensure they meet the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, Inquiries regarding the registration steps can be made through the Authority’s official platforms or by calling the Customer Service Center at 199002.
Starting from the designated date for the commencement of registration, a “Property Number” and a title deed for each registered real estate unit. The title deed will include the property’s details, description, condition, and associated rights and obligations linked to precise geospatial information, thereby contributing to the strengthening of infrastructure and the sustainability of the real estate sector; as the real estate registration system aims to increase the reliability of real estate records and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
