In one of the sessions on the first day of the Global Proptech Summit, the General Real Estate Authority revealed the steps it relies on to improve the classification of real estate data, according to the following steps:

    • Recategorizing sectors by street width.
    • Correlating raw data using location variables.
    • Integrate with satellite imagery.
    • Using a geographic AI model for land classification.
    • Correlate results with census data.

    The speaker also revealed an example of using a geographic AI model and census data that can distinguish between a building and land, and help correct misclassifications that were previously identified as land to become a building.

      The Saudi capital Riyadh will host the “Global Proptech Summit” on Sunday, organized by Public Authority for Real Estate under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, and in strategic partnership with the National Housing Company (NHC).
