The Al-Qassim Region Secretariat presented more than 200 investment opportunities across a variety of sectors in the city of Buraydah and all governorates of the Al-Qassim Region during its participation in Cityscape Global Exhibition 2024, held in Riyadh from November 11–14.
These investment opportunities, presented at Cityscape, aim to support the local economy and strengthen the role of the private sector as part of the Secretariat’s development programs, with the goal of achieving financial sustainability and improving quality of life.
It is worth noting that the Secretariat offered more than 630 investment opportunities in 2024, and aims to launch more than 800 new opportunities in 2025 in the city of Buraidah and all governorates of the Al-Qassim region, featuring diverse investment activities across multiple sectors, thereby promoting sustainable economic development in the region.
The Secretary of the Al-Qassim Region, Engineer Muhammad bin Mubarak Al-Majali, signed four investment contracts totaling more than 180 million riyals on the sidelines of Cityscape International Exhibition 2024.
The contracts included: the construction, operation, and maintenance of a commercial, administrative, and hotel tower at the intersection of Al-Bayraq Road and Uthman bin Affan Road in Buraidah, with a total value exceeding 91 million riyals, as well as the development, operation, and maintenance of parking facilities in the northern area of Buraidah, with a total value exceeding fifty-one million riyals. The agreement also included the operation and maintenance of King Abdullah Park, with a total value exceeding thirteen million riyals, and the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Specialized Markets and Logistics City on Othman bin Affan Road in Unaizah Province, with a total value exceeding twenty-five million riyals.
Cityscape Exhibition Continues on Its Second Day
Activities continue at Cityscape 2024, a global event hosted by the Kingdom for the second consecutive year under the theme “The Future of Living.“ The four-day event is taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in partnership with the General Real Estate Authority, and the Housing Program—one of the Vision 2030 initiatives—and organized by "Tahaluf," a joint venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, the Events Investment Fund, and Informa Global.
Opening of Cityscape Global
Last Monday, the opening ceremony of the second edition of Cityscape Global—the largest real estate exhibition inreal estate sector, His Excellency Majed Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, amid significant participation.
