All sectors in our beloved Kingdom under the leadership of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, are witnessing great and increasing attention. Among these sectors is the agriculture sector, which is considered the equivalent of food security, as this led to stimulating the public sector represented by the Ministry of Agriculture and the private sector represented by the national agricultural institutions, to upgrade the agricultural sector and develop its mechanisms and means in terms of production and marketing, in addition to that, agricultural exhibitions are one of the important arms that promote the development and upgrading of the agricultural sector, and help in marketing agricultural products and opening wide areas for national and foreign expertise to meet to exchange ideas and sign agreements and memorandums of understanding. Agricultural exhibitions, including the Saudi Agricultural Exhibition, which starts on Sunday, October 11 in its 34th edition, are also working to keep pace with the latest types of agricultural technologies, especially since the exhibition witnesses a large local, regional and international participation of more than 350 entities working in agricultural investment, and this broad participation confirms the great interest in the agricultural sector in the Kingdom by all relevant authorities.

There are several evidences that confirm the extent of the great interest of the agricultural sector by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, including the Ministry of Agriculture has developed a strategic plan for sustainable development until 2030 aiming to complete the modernization of the agricultural sector to be more developed, diversified and growing, based on the comparative advantage of different regions to contribute to achieving sustainable food security and to achieve food security in its comprehensive form, thus enhancing social stability.

As a result of the great interest in the agricultural sector, we have seen many agricultural products invading Arab and even international markets, including dates, eggs, fish, poultry, fruits, vegetables and flowers, not to mention the role of the private sector<span class="Apple-converted- which has been playing a very important role in local production and enhancing the mechanisms and means of exporting abroad as well as one of the most prominent evidence of the interest in agriculture by the government providing interest-free and long-term loans by the Agricultural Fund.

All these indicators represent the extent of the great interest in the agricultural sector, which has come to play a major role in supporting the national economy.
