Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center detects 4,000 violations during the past month

The center conducted more than 19,000 monitoring rounds and received more than 16,000 reports during January 2025 to promote compliance and safety.

The Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center carried out, during January 2025, more than 19,000 inspection visits to project sites in the city of Riyadh and the region’s provinces, while the center received more than 16,000 reports of violations of infrastructure project regulations and requirements.

TheRiyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center identified more than 4,000 violations during these inspection tours, ranging from unclean work sites during and after project completion, to the failure to install warning lights along the entire traffic detour, as well as the absence of signs bearing the names of the project owner, supervising consultant, and contractor, and non-compliance with safety requirements at work sites.

Through these inspection tours, the Center seeks to ensure compliance with technical standards for infrastructure projects and to enhance their quality and safety, thereby contributing to the improvement of the urban landscape and environmental sustainability.

It is worth noting that these inspections are part of the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center’s efforts to enhance quality of life, improve spending efficiency, and upgrade the services provided to residents and visitors to the region.
