Real Estate Registry for 58 Neighborhoods in Riyadh City and Al-Muzahimiyah and Diriyah Governorates Completed

The Public Authority for Real Estate invites owners of 58 neighborhoods in Riyadh, Muzahmiyah and Diriyah to register their properties via rer.sa before the deadline expires.

The General Real Estate Authority has announced that the deadline for for the first physical registration of real estate for 22 neighborhoods in Riyadh, 25 neighborhoods in Al-Mazahmiyah Governorate, and 11 neighborhoods in Al-Dir’iyah Governorate.

The Authority stated that Land Registry will be discontinued in the following neighborhoods in Riyadh: (part of Arid District, Wadi Luban, King Abdullah City for Energy, Al-Wisam, Al-Sahab, Al-Marjan, Al-Bashair, Al-Iskan, Al-Bariyah, New Industrial City, Hitt, Khashm Al-An, Uhud, Okaz, Dirab, Al-Mansouriyah, Al-Hair, Al-Amajiyah, Al-Ghanamiyah, Umm Al-Shaal, Al-Sahba, and Al-Musaffah), and in Al-Mazahmiyah Governorate, registration will end in the following neighborhoods: (Wasila, Nawara, Granada, Tuwaig, Shukhib, Hadar, Al-Yasmin, Al-Wurood, Al-Waha, Al-Hada, Al-Murooj, Al-Mohammadiya, Al-Louloua, Al-Ghatghat, Al-Olia, Al-Sina’iya, Al-Saqouriya, Al-Shallal, Al-Rif, Al-Rashidiyah, Al-Hazimiyah, Al-Hazm, Al-Jami’ah, Al-Andalus, and Mushayrifah). Registration will also close in the following neighborhoods in the Diriyah Governorate: (Al-Shuhada, Aqraba, Salam, Al-Wadi, Al-Adl, Najd, Al-Ain, Al-Waseel, Prince Sultan, Al-Waha, and Hijrat Budah).

The Authority called on owners of properties located within the aforementioned neighborhoods to promptly register their properties through the Land Registry platform rer.sa before the registration period ends, in order to benefit from services related to real estate transactions and the documentation of all changes affecting the property.

It clarified that the Real Estate Registry will issue a "property number" and a title deed for each registered property unit, The new title deed includes the property’s precise geographic location, owner information, property descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions affecting it, serving as the basis for documenting ownership and the associated real estate rights, thereby contributing to the sustainability and strengthening of the real estate sector and its key drivers.

The General Real Estate Authority has confirmed that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement exposes owners to the financial penalties set forth in the Real Estate Registration System, as determined by a committee specialized in reviewing violations, and that applications for real estate registration will continue in all designated areas even after the registration period specified in the announcement expires.

It is worth noting that the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services (the Real Estate Registry) is responsible for establishing and managing the real estate registry in the Kingdom using modern technologies and geospatial data through an integrated digital platform that contributes to enhancing transparency and confidence in real estate services and data.
