National Water Company represented by the Northwest Sector announced the start of the implementation of (9) water and environmental projects in the region of Tabuk, at a cost of approximately (300) million riyals; with the aim of increasing the coverage of services, raising operational efficiency, and improving customer service level.
<a href=“https://amlak.net.National Water stressed that the projects included (3) water services to deliver drinking water to beneficiaries in different neighborhoods in Tabuk city, including the neighborhoods of Rais, Nazim and South Tabuk; through the construction and completion of water networks, main lines and water site works, with a total length of more than (60) linear kilometers, at a cost of more than (62.2) million riyals.

Completion of main lines
<The first project includes the expansion of the main lift station in Tabuk by increasing the capacity of the existing station by installing (4) pumps with a capacity of (90,000) cubic meters per day instead of the previous capacity of (60,000) cubic meters per day, while the other project includes completing the implementation of main lines and sewage networks with a length of (46.7) linear kilometers to increase the coverage of sewage service in Shafa and Yarmouk neighborhoods.The company explained that it has embarked on the implementation of two water projects, the first in Haql Governorate, which included the implementation of the transmission line with a total length of (21.9) linear kilometers, the construction of an operational tank with a capacity of (5,000) cubic meters, and a pumping station with a capacity of (5,000) cubic meters per day, at a total cost of more than (51.4) million riyals, and the second project in Qaliba Center to establish a drinking water purification plant with a capacity of (1,000) cubic meters per day, at a cost of more than (39.4) million riyals.

Environmental projects in the governorates of Tabuk region also included the implementation of two projects to eliminate environmental damage at a cost of more than (78.1) million riyals, the first includes the implementation of main and branch sewage lines and networks of different diameters in the neighborhoods of Rahmaniya and Shafa in Tayma Governorate, with lengths of (43.3) linear kilometers, while the other project includes completing the implementation of sewage networks and main lines with lengths exceeding (32.5) linear kilometers to serve the neighborhoods of: (In addition to the construction of a lift station with a capacity of 9,600 cubic meters per day, the projects come in accordance with its plans to strengthen infrastructure, increase the coverage of water and environmental services, and improve their reliability and operational efficiency.
