Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 63 new industrial licenses during January 2025, while 103 new factories started production during the same month, according to the report of the Ministry's National Center for Industrial and Mining Information. <The report, which monitors industrial indicators on a monthly basis, showed that the volume of investments associated with the new licenses reached 1.197 billion riyals, and these projects are expected to contribute to providing more than 2,500 job opportunities in various regions of the Kingdom. According to the Ministry of Industry, the value of investments in factories that started production during January amounted to 900 million riyals, with job opportunities estimated at 1504 new jobs, reflecting the continued expansion of the industrial base in the Kingdom, and the high pace of factories entering into actual operation.

On a monthly basis, the Ministry issues, through the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, the most prominent industrial indicators that reflect the movement of industrial activity in the Kingdom, including the volume of new investments, the number of licenses issued, and factories that start production, within the framework of enhancing transparency and keeping pace with the monitoring of the industrial growth process witnessed by the Kingdom.
