Diriyah announced the signing of a contract worth SAR 4.225 billion to carry out infrastructure development works for<a style="color: #800000;" href="https://www.vision2030.gov. the Diriyah Project in the King Saud University area in the eastern part of the master plan, in addition to relocating some facilities and administrative offices of the university during the development process.

The overall scope of the contract includes the design and construction of replacement facilities for KSU and administrative offices, and includes a full range of essential infrastructure including a central cooling plant, water storage tanks, wastewater treatment plant, LPG and industrial gas plant, diesel pumping station, service tunnel, irrigation water reservoirs, administrative buildings, warehouses and maintenance workshops.
The project was awarded to a joint consortium comprising China Railway Construction Saudi Arabia Limited and China Railway Construction Group-Centralized Simple Construction Company Limited.
China Railway Construction Group (CRCG) said that the project is a joint venture between China Railway Construction Saudi Arabia Limited and China Railway Construction Group.
