Al-Dir’iya Company announced the launch of the third edition of the “Al-Dir’iya Engineers Development Program,” one of the most prominent specialized programs aimed at attracting and training elite Saudi graduates who possess an engineering mindset, and enable them to contribute to projects within the Diriyah Development Strategy, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals related to human capacity development.
According to Al-Dir’iya Company, the program is a comprehensive, year-long training journey, combining theoretical and practical aspects; aimed at developing personal skills, enhancing professional competencies, fostering engineering thinking, and pairing participants with experienced professionals to acquire the necessary expertise and skills, so they can become active contributors among future leaders.
The program supports the initiatives of Al-Dir’iya Company by investing in national talent and creating quality job opportunities that enable Saudi youth to participate in the development of the Al-Dir’iya project. It will work to develop a number of skills among participants, including professional writing, presentation, data analysis, project management, financial analysis for non-financial professionals, strategic problem-solving, emotional intelligence, operations management, and more.
In its third edition, the program aims to train and develop 40 male and female engineers who are recent graduates with bachelor’s or master’s degrees and no more than 6 months of professional experience—graduates of (2024) and later—who are fluent in both Arabic and English, Applicants must have practical experience, such as cooperative training or participation in university projects and initiatives. The program offers specialized full-time job opportunities with all employment benefits.
Participants will receive training in one of the following departments: Design and Development, Asset Management, and Technology Management. The program offers high-level training content focused on developing personal, leadership, and practical skills through specialized workshops and hands-on training supervised by distinguished experts in their fields.
The third edition of the program builds on the success of the previous two editions, which trained 48 male and female engineers—14 participants in the first edition, and 34 in the second edition. The total number of applicants exceeded 37,000 male and female engineers, as part of Al-Dir’iya Company’s efforts to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and to make Al-Dir’iya a global destination for tourism, heritage, and culture. The project includes offices for tens of thousands of employees, as well as artistic, cultural, sports, and recreational areas, The company is working to build more than 18,000 luxury residential units and more than 40 world-class hotels, in addition to unique cultural and historical sites, museums, educational facilities, and specialized academies.
