<The Saudi-American Investment Forum kicked off in Riyadh today, with the participation of Their Highnesses, Excellencies and officials of the two friendly countries, at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center.
H.E. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, delivered the opening speech of the forum, during which he conveyed the greetings of the wise leadership to the participants in the Saudi-US Investment Forum, which is held on the sidelines of the visit of H.E. Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, to Saudi Arabia as the first destination in his foreign visits during his current term in office.
The Minister of Investment praised the number and level of the American and Saudi investment delegation participating in the forum, which reflects the keenness of the two countries in general and Saudi and American private companies to move forward towards new horizons of cooperation in continuation of more than (90) years of relations between the two countries characterized by confidence and the spirit of partnership based on mutual respect and keenness to achieve interests and mutual benefits for the economies of the two countries.

Al-Falih discussed the annual report Kingdom Vision 2030 for the year 2024, indicating that the vision and its various programs have made advanced progress in achieving its objectives aimed at diversifying and sustaining the Kingdom's economic resources and opening new horizons for investment in promising sectors including traditional and renewable energy, advanced technologies and industries, artificial intelligence, tourism, health, biotechnology, logistics, supply chains, and other vital sectors.

His Excellency said: “The world is witnessing rapid transformations, economic fluctuations and technological developments that will contribute to redrawing the contours of the international economy and will provide many opportunities to strengthen and expand the base of the strategic partnership between the two countries, and emphasize the importance of building strong and sustainable partnerships to achieve mutual interests, based on the strengths of the Saudi and American economies, especially the strengths of Saudi and American companies.”

Al-Falih emphasized that the relationship between the two countries is one of the most important geopolitical ties through economic cooperation and business partnerships, and serves as a force for global peace and prosperity, adding that business opportunities in the Kingdom have expanded and multiplied several times, as a result of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which has provided many opportunities and healthy investment returns.
