<The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has clarified that the projects of Al Fursan suburb located in northeastern Riyadh are not included in the recently announced expropriation operations.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing Supply Stimulation and Real Estate Development Abdulrahman Al-Tawil said that more residential projects are being implemented in the suburb, in cooperation with local and international real estate developers under the supervision of the Ministry's executive arm, NHC, in order to stimulate the housing supply and achieve the appropriate real estate balance according to the generous directives to meet the aspirations of citizens, pointing out that the service of booking residential units in the suburb projects continues through official channels, and the delivery of residential units is carried out as soon as they are completed.
Al Tawil drew attention to the fact that “Al Fursan Suburb” is one of the largest urban projects being implemented, as it extends over an area of 35 million square meters and provides more than 50,000 housing units to accommodate more than 250,000 people, characterized by the presence of more than 190 vital facilities including educational, health, sports, recreational and other facilities, calling for the need to obtain information from its official sources.
