Saudi business sector unveils 200 investment opportunities at Sarajevo Forum

A Saudi delegation comprising six government agencies and private companies will participate in the forum with more than 2,000 participants from 35 countries

The Saudi business sector is exploring investment opportunities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with more than 200 opportunities expected to be presented during the 14th Sarajevo Business Forum.
The Kingdom is participating in this forum as a keynote speaker, with a delegation comprising six government agencies and a number of private-sector companies, led by Abdulaziz bin Omar Al-Sukran, Deputy Governor for International Relations at the General Authority for Foreign Trade, along with more than (2,000) participants from (35) countries and a number of international organizations.
Participation in the forum, which is being held on May 21, aims to strengthen trade relations between the Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina, explore opportunities for cooperation in targeted sectors, attract foreign investment, and enhance government-to-government communication among participating countries, as well as holding a Saudi-Bosnian business roundtable, signing an agreement between the private sectors of both sides, and visiting “BH Telecom,” a leading telecommunications company, and “Bingo,” Bosnia’s largest supermarket chain.
Organized annually, the forum focuses on attracting international investment, strengthening economic cooperation, and contributing to the economic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Eastern European countries; it is one of the initiatives of the International Bank of Bosnia.
Now in its 14th edition, the Sarajevo Business Forum discusses the role of government policies in promoting business growth and enabling it through technology and innovation, as well as key strategic business practices in the tourism sector and their economic impact.
The Kingdom’s delegation includes the General Authority for Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the National Center for Palms and Dates, and the Council of Saudi Chambers.
It is worth noting that the volume of trade between the Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina over the past 10 years (2024–2014) reached approximately $321 million, and trade volume between the two countries in 2024 grew by 82% compared to 2023.
