The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of the real estate registration process for (50,259) real estate pieces in (21) neighborhoods in the Makkah region, starting from July 13, 2025, corresponding to Muharram 18, 1447H, until the end of October 16, 2025, corresponding to Rabi'II 24, 1447H.

Details of the neighborhoods

The Authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting from <a href="https://amlak.net. at this stage include (Al Salam neighborhood, part of Al Rawabi neighborhood, part of Al Rashidiya neighborhood, part of Ma'ad neighborhood, part of Al Khadra neighborhood, part of Al Khadra neighborhood, part of Al Falak Al Jadid neighborhood, part of Sha'ab Al Jadid neighborhood, part of Sha'ab Al Ali Al Jadid neighborhood, part of Sha'ab Ali al-Jadid, part of Batha Quraish, part of al-Hijra, part of al-Taqwa, part of Sha'ab Ali al-Jadid, part of al-Mughams, part of al-Kawthar, part of al-Shari'a, parts of al-Maqam, and parts of al-Maqam. Parts of the Al-Khadra neighborhood, parts of the new Qarara neighborhood, parts of the new Sha'ab Amer neighborhood, the Al-Mubarak plan in Al-Rayyan, the modified low-income plan in Huda Al-Sham, and the Jumoum housing plan), indicating that the selection of neighborhoods and plans was made according to specific criteria, and the rest of the regions, governorates and neighborhoods that will be subject to real estate registration work in various regions of the Kingdom in the coming periods will be announced accordingly.

The Real Estate Authority pointed out that the first registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa/ or through service centers, noting that in-kind registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the statutory requirements to complete the registration process.

The Real Estate Authority called on the owners of real estate in different regions of the Kingdom in the coming periods. The Authority called on property owners in areas and neighborhoods subject to in-kind registration to verify the title deed of the property and the availability of the necessary requirements in preparation for the start of registration, and can inquire about the registration steps through the official platforms of the Authority or by calling the Customer Service Center 199002.

Starting from the date set for the start of registration, a "property number" and a title deed will be issued for each real estate unit that is registered, and the title deed will include property data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations associated with accurate geospatial information to contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure and sustainability of the real estate sector, as the real estate registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
