Saudi and Russian companies invited to capitalize on investment opportunities in both countries

The President of the Council of Saudi Chambers Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Zamil called for expanding the fields of economic cooperation and developing trade and investment exchange with Russia, recommending the formation of a joint working group to study available opportunities and work to remove any obstacles to investment in the two countries.

Zamil stressed during his meeting with the President of the Russian-Arab Business Council and President of the Russian-Saudi Business Council Dr. Vladimir Yevtushenkov and the accompanying delegation, the readiness of the Council of Saudi Chambers to provide the required assistance and studies to develop and prosper economic and trade relations between the two sides, relying on the Russian side to activate trade and investment with the Kingdom, especially in the petrochemical sector.

Zamil noted the availability of investment opportunities in the Saudi market and the readiness of the Saudi business sector and its desire to increase cooperation and increase trade and investment exchange rates with the Russian side, and to benefit from the expertise of Russian companies and institutions to develop joint projects and work programs that serve the interests of the two countries, and urged the Russian side to benefit from the advantages of the Saudi market as the largest market in the Middle East region and its good reputation in many markets around the world.

Dr. Vladimir Yevtushenkov called for investment in Russia to take advantage of the great and diverse opportunities available in the Russian market due to its openness to the world, where he called for the need for cooperation between Saudi companies and Russian companies and the introduction of investment opportunities in both countries, and pointed to a serious start for partnership with the Saudi side through the establishment of a joint company to work in the fields of agriculture, wood manufacturing and export, technology and medicine, noting the readiness of the Russian side to implement a number of studied projects in the Kingdom.
