The Saudi Council of Engineers has announced that it has joined the International Engineering Alliance through the International Professional Engineers Association (IPEA), in a strategic move aimed at consolidating the Kingdom's presence in global professional organizations and raising the level of international recognition of Saudi competencies in the engineering sector.

Through its membership in the Alliance, the Authority seeks to achieve a number of objectives, most notably enhancing the international status of the Authority as a reference institution, participating in the development of international policies and standards, and enabling Saudi engineers to benefit from continuous professional development opportunities.

This move will contribute to enabling Saudi engineers to work in international markets in accordance with the highest standards and consolidating the status of the Saudi engineer globally. This joining is an extension of the Kingdom's orientation towards engaging in international professional organizations, within the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance competitiveness, develop human capital, and raise the quality of professional practice in various sectors, especially the engineering sector.
