“Statistics”: Industrial production index rises 7.9% during June 2025

Industrial Production Index increased by 7.9% compared to the similar month of the previous year (June 2024), according to the Industrial Production Index (IPI) Results Bulletin for June 2025 issued by the General Authority for Statistics.

According to the bulletin, the IPI sub-index for mining and quarrying activity increased by 6% year-on-year, and the sub-index for manufacturing activity increased by 7.9%. The sub-index for electricity, gas, steam, steam and air-conditioning activity increased by 5.6%, and the sub-index for water supply, sanitation, waste management and treatment activities increased by 6.9%, compared to June of the previous year.

The results of the bulletin reported a rise in the sub-index for electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning activity. According to the main economic activities, the results indicated that the index index for oil activities in June 2025 increased by 7.7% and the index for non-oil activities increased by 8.6%.
