More than 234,000 certificates of origin issued during the first half of 2025

Targeted certificates to increase the competitiveness of Saudi products through an e-service that includes preferential, Gulf and general models

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 234,627 Certificates of Origin during the first half of this year, as part of its efforts to support the growth of Saudi non-oil exports, expand the national exporter base, and enhance the competitiveness of national products in international markets.

The number of Certificates of Origin issued in January was 41,977, 38,830 in February, 37,689 in March, 38,219 in April, 40,829 in May and 37,083 in June.

This service targets industrial establishments, companies and commercial organizations, as well as individuals such as farmers, fishermen, local craftsmen and other individual activity owners.

The Certificate of Origin includes a certificate of origin. The Certificate of Origin includes four main forms, including the Certificate of Origin for the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, the Certificate of Origin for Arab States, the standardized preferential model for the Arab Gulf States applied under free trade agreements, and the general model provided in both Arabic and English for countries that do not grant preferential treatment.
