Riyadh to host the 15th edition of the Saudi Green Building Forum Next October

Taking place on October 1-2 at the Misk Center in Riyadh, more than 3,000 participants and 50 speakers will discuss localizing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The 15th edition of the Saudi Green Building Forum will kick off on October 1 and 2 at the non-profit Mohammed bin Salman City (Misk) in Riyadh, under the theme "Localizing the Sustainable Development Goals: Catalyzing Green Action, Nature-Based Solutions, and Urban Sustainability in Light of the Kingdom's Vision 2030", under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing. Faisal Al Fadl, Secretary General of the Forum, emphasized that the Forum is a platform for decision-makers, innovators and youth to reimagine the cities of the future, noting that in 15 years the Forum has become a leading global platform in the field of urban sustainability and green action.“

Fadl added that <a href="https://amlak.net.The Saudi Green Building Forum, which has consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, will bring together more than 3,000 participants and 50 international speakers in 20 sessions that discuss three main themes: nature-based solutions by showcasing innovations in renewable energy, water management and urban planning that support biodiversity; green cities by aligning the Sustainable Development Goals with Saudi and Arabian cities; and partnerships for sustainability by promoting regional and international cooperation between governments, the private sector and civil society.

Fadl added that the forum's program will bring together more than 3,000 participants and 50 international speakers in 20 sessions that discuss three main themes: nature-based solutions by reviewing innovations in renewable energy, water management and urban planning that support biodiversity. He explained that the forum's program in this edition will include high-level sessions on the future of sustainable cities, renewable energy integration, the role of modern technologies in construction, in addition to dialogue sessions on flexible urban planning and circular economy partnerships, an innovation exhibition that showcases the latest solutions to achieve carbon-neutral cities, and will honor pioneering initiatives through the Saaf Sustainability Awards, including the Qassim Green Land project.
