Dell presents the next steps and challenges for businesses in Saudi Arabia

Dell highlighted the concept of the future of business and how companies in Saudi Arabia can prepare for future challenges, on the sidelines of the Dell held in Riyadh with approximately 300 IT professionals from across the Kingdom in attendance.

Dell emphasized that «future-ready companies» are those that plan for the long term and align their business approach with their IT investments, and that they strive to simplify their operations as much as possible, since complexity is the biggest obstacle preventing companies from being ready for future challenges.

Dell outlined five steps that companies in the Kingdom should follow to be ready for the future. These steps are:Investing in simplicity, adopting open standards, thinking software-first, providing integrated security solutions, and embracing modernity and automation.

Dell is increasingly working to support Saudi companies in becoming «ready for the future,» especially since the Kingdom is one of the three most important markets for Dell in the region—which, in addition to the Kingdom, includes Turkey and the United Arab Emirates—prompting the company to recently move into its new office in the «Information and Communications Technology Park.”
