The map of Saudi architecture includes 19 architectural styles inspired by the Kingdom's geographical and cultural characteristics. It is noteworthy that the launch of Saudi Architecture coincided with the establishment of design studios that play an essential and supportive role in guiding the design process as specialized technical centers affiliated with development authorities, strategic offices and regional secretariats.
<In this regard, it is worth noting that the map of Saudi Architecture includes 19 architectural styles inspired by the geographical and cultural characteristics of the Kingdom, and each style was identified based on urban and historical studies that reflect the building patterns inherited through generations, namely: Najdi architecture, Northern Najdi architecture, Tabuk Coast architecture, Medina architecture, Medina countryside architecture, Hejazi coastal architecture, Taif architecture, Sarawat Mountains architecture, Asir foothills architecture. Tihama Foothills, Tihama Coast, Abha Highlands, Farsan Islands, Bisha Desert, Najran Desert, Al-Ahsa Oasis, Al-Qatif, East Coast, and Eastern Najdiya.
