The institutions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pay great attention to increasing green spaces in order to preserve the environment, so the Municipality of Hail Region implemented a qualitative initiative, turning the city's ring road into a green belt, while implementing a number of important environmental works that contribute to raising the quality of life.

    The trees that were planted as part of the Hail Municipality initiative were chosen with a special quality that adapts to the climate of the region, in addition to consuming water in limited quantities, and these trees contribute to improving the quality of life, and the objectives of this initiative come in line with the neighborhood union project, which primarily aims to improve the quality of municipal services and life at a comprehensive level, and develop the urban environment.
