540 billion riyals the volume of the Kingdom's international trade during the third quarter of 2025

The Kingdom's international trade recorded 540.5 billion riyals in the third quarter of 2025, an increase of 8.6% from the previous year.

The Kingdom's total international trade volume during the third quarter of 2025 recorded about (540.5) billion riyals, achieving an annual growth of (8.6%) equivalent to (43) billion riyals compared to the similar period of 2024, which amounted to (497.5) billion riyals, according to data The General Authority for Statistics in its International Trade Bulletin for the third quarter of this year.

Goods exports accounted for 56.1% of the total worth (303.3) billion riyals, while imports accounted for (43.9%) worth (237.2) billion riyals, with the trade balance recording a surplus of (66.1) billion riyals.

According to the data, national non-petroleum exports (excluding re-exports) amounted to about (57) billion riyals, representing (18.8%) of total merchandise exports, an annual decrease of (0.4%) worth (0.2) billion riyals, with a quarterly growth of (3.1%) equivalent to (1.7) billion riyals compared to the second quarter of the same year.

According to the data, national non-petroleum exports (excluding re-exports) amounted to (57) billion riyals, representing (18.81 TP3T) equivalent to (1.7) billion riyals. Petroleum exports recorded (207.8) billion riyals, equivalent to (68.5%) of total exports, while re-exported goods witnessed a remarkable year-on-year increase of (69.6%) with an increase of (15.8) billion riyals to reach (38.5) billion riyals, representing (12.7%) of total exports, and a quarterly growth of (17.4%) worth (5.7) billion riyals.

At the level of export trends, the Asian countries came first with (71.7%) of the total value of exports worth (217.4) billion riyals, followed by European countries with (14.8%) worth (44.7) billion riyals, then African countries with (7.4%) worth (22.4) billion riyals, while the share of the American group (6%) amounted to (18.3) billion riyals.

With regard to export trends, the group of Asian countries came first with (71.7%) of the total value of exports worth (217.4) billion riyals.

China China ranked first among the importing countries of Saudi exports with (14.9%) worth (45.2) billion riyals, followed by the United Arab Emirates with (10.8%) worth (32.7) billion riyals, then India with (9.5%) worth (29) billion riyals.

In terms of the movement of non-Saudi exports, China ranked first among the importing countries with (14.9%) worth (45.2) billion riyals. In terms of the movement of non-petroleum exports (including re-exports), these exports crossed through (34) land, sea and air customs outlets with a total value of (95.5) billion riyals, led by King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah with (17.3) billion riyals, followed by Jeddah Islamic Port with (10.8) billion riyals.
