The Eastern Province Municipality received yesterday a delegation from the Holy Capital Municipality during a field visit to the recycling project of demolition and construction waste in Dammam city; with the aim of exchanging experiences and developing waste management practices through quality investment projects that support the environment and urban landscape.

The Municipality stressed that the project is an investment model in improving the urban landscape and supporting circular economy initiatives, noting its success in recycling more than 70% of demolition and construction waste incoming to the station, with a quantity of up to 16 thousand tons per month, with an expansion plan to raise the capacity to 240 thousand tons per month during the coming stages, explaining that the project represents an advanced step in recycling waste and turning it into valuable materials to be used in infrastructure projects.
