Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA), Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khuraif, confirmed that the value of the Kingdom's non-oil exports during the first half of this year reached 307 billion riyals, recording the highest half-yearly growth.

During his participation in a dialogue session with the Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al Shaar, as part of the Made in Saudi Arabia Exhibition, he explained that Saudi Vision 2030 has contributed with its programs and initiatives in setting the path for the record performance and continuous growth of non-oil exports in recent years, by launching national industrial capabilities, supporting local content, enhancing the quality and competitiveness of Saudi products and increasing their access to various markets around the world.

He said “Since the launch of the National Industrial Strategy and the activation of the roles of the Saudi Export Development Authority and the Saudi Export-Import Bank, we have achieved qualitative growth in non-oil exports, which recorded an unprecedented historical performance in 2024, reaching SAR 515 billion, with 200 new products registered within those exports.”

He said. <Al-Khorayef explained that the “Made in Saudi” program is an umbrella for developing national products, raising their quality and competitiveness locally and internationally, and unifying their identity with a single brand of high quality and reliability that enhances their penetration and makes them the preferred choice in global markets. During the session, His Excellency welcomed the Syrian Arab Republic, the guest of honor of the third edition of “Made in Saudi” exhibition, noting that the strong fraternal and economic relations between the two countries and the geographical proximity constitute an important base to enhance the partnership between the Kingdom and Syria in the industrial sector.

He pointed out that the vision of the Kingdom's vision is to enhance the quality and competitiveness of its products locally and globally. He pointed out that the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the National Industrial Strategy focused on Gulf and Arab industrial integration, noting the opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the field of industrial cities and enabling Syria to benefit from the Kingdom's successful experiences in developing exports and supporting local content in order to enhance its economic growth.

Minister of Industry and Ministry of Trade and Industry said that the strong fraternal and economic relations between the two countries and geographical proximity constitute an important base for enhancing the partnership between the Kingdom and Syria in the industrial sector The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources drew attention to the high efficiency, skills and professionalism demonstrated by Syrian investors in the industrial sector in the Kingdom, looking forward to the industrial sector becoming an important pillar and a lever for the advancement of the Syrian economy and a main engine for generating job opportunities and providing promising investment opportunities.

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources He spoke about the development of bilateral trade between the two brotherly countries, indicating that Saudi non-oil exports to Syria during the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 1.2 billion riyals, which is a good indicator in light of some challenges that still exist, especially with regard to the difficulty in the flow of funds.

The session is part of the third edition of “Made in Saudi” exhibition. The exhibition is a leading national platform to review the most prominent national products and services, discuss ways to enhance their presence in local and international markets, and represent a qualitative opportunity to build partnerships and achieve industrial integration between various sectors, thus enhancing the identity of Saudi industry.

The session comes as part of the third edition of “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition.
