Architecture Authority: Riyadh's leadership in design promotes the growth of the real estate sector and opens investment horizons

Dr. Sumaya Al-Suleiman, CEO of the Architecture and Design Authority, commented on Riyadh’s inclusion in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of design, noting that Riyadh, as the Kingdom’s capital, is already well-known in various fields today, but being designated a City of Design further strengthens its global standing as a center of creativity and opens up new investment opportunities

During an interview with Al-Ikhbariya TV, she added that the benefits of Riyadh joining UNESCO Creative Cities Network will depend on Riyadh’s ability to attract specialists and host international exhibitions, thereby helping the real estate sector reach high levels of maturity through economic support and empowerment.

Dr. Sumaya Al-Suleiman, CEO of the Architecture and Design Authority, emphasized that there is a diversity of design services within Riyadh, and that work is underway to explore how design can serve as a tool for achieving sustainability, which will in turn improve quality of life.
