The world’s attention is turning to the capital, Riyadh, where leaders from the housing and real estate sectors across various countries are gathering to explore ways to build future cities that are more people-centered, moving beyond the concept of infrastructure to embrace well-being, equality, and human connection.
This is part of the events at Cityscape Global 2025, the world’s largest real estate event in terms of attendance, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, in partnership with the Housing Program—one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030— and organized by Tahali, a joint venture between the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones; the Events Investment Fund; and Informa Global, from November 17 to 20 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
Objectives of Cityscape Global 2025
The Cityscape World Expo to exchange insights on building smarter, more resilient, and livable urban environments. With global urbanization projected to reach (68%) by 2050, and with the urban population in the Middle East reaching (75%), human-centered urban planning has become essential for creating healthy, connected, and sustainable cities. Cityscape will highlight the concept of a city that places people at the heart of development, thereby enhancing quality of life and striking a balance between technological innovation and social well-being.
The third day of the exhibition will feature the Future of Living Summit, held under the theme “Smart Cities of the Future” on the main stage, to discuss the technical and human aspects of modern cities. The sessions will not be limited to concepts such as smart transportation, security, and sustainability, but will focus on the most important element of any smart city—people—with the participation of a number of international speakers.
In the Kingdom, major projects are not limited to urban development alone but seek to redefine the relationship between people and cities. The most prominent major development projects are taking center stage at Cityscape, with NHC, New Square, Al-Qiddiya, NEOM, Roshen Group, Al-Dir’iya Company, and City Vision, Red Sea International, and the King Salman Park Foundation, are presenting their visions for redefining the future of urban life. These projects celebrate human-centered design, sustainability, and digital transformation, creating smart and inspiring urban living environments.
Michael Dyk, CEO of The New Square project, said: “We look forward to showcasing The New Square project at Cityscape Global, as the event provides an exceptional platform to present our vision for redefining the urban lifestyle in Riyadh through the seamless integration of modern technology, sustainability, and cultural vibrancy.”
He added: “With the number of real estate investment licenses in the Kingdom reaching a record high of 96,000 units by the end of 2024, this growth reflects investors” strong confidence and the momentum driving transformative projects like The New Square toward broader horizons.”
Amid the real estate transformation and urban leap the Kingdom is witnessing, Cityscape provides a unique platform for architects, investors, and decision-makers to discuss the latest trends in real estate and urban planning—both locally and globally— and to build new partnerships that foster collaboration and growth.
