The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) released the results of the 2024 Structural Business Statistics, which revealed the performance of the structural features of the business sector in the Kingdom. These indicators aim to measure revenues, operating expenses and compensation of employees, in addition to a set of other indicators classified according to the national classification of economic activities.
According to GASTAT's announcement, operating revenues recorded an annual increase to reach 5,500 billion riyals with a growth rate of 3.91%. According to The General Authority for Statistics, operating revenues recorded a year-on-year increase to reach SR5,500 billion with a growth rate of 3.9%, while total operating expenses reached SR2,367 billion with a growth rate of 9.3%, and workers" compensation reached SR588.8 billion with a year-on-year growth of 8.1%.
According to the announcement of The General Authority for Statistics, operating revenues recorded a year-on-year increase to reach SR5,500 billion with a growth rate of 3.9%. <At the level of operating expenditures, according to GAS data, we find that mining and quarrying activity increased by 23.5%, manufacturing activity by 9.The compensation of those engaged in mining and quarrying activity increased by 9.7%, manufacturing activity increased by 7.2% and construction activity increased by 10.0%.
