UAE's Aldar Properties pays AED 318 million for Al Jimi Mall expansion“

UAE-based Aldar Properties plans to expand and renovate the facilities of Al Jimi Mall, one of the most prominent shopping malls in Al Ain, with Pivot Engineering awarded the AED 318 million expansion contract under the AED 3 billion overall investment plan.

The investment in the expansion of Al Jimi Mall will contribute to attracting more retail brands to the mall.

Al Jimi Mall receives approximately 8 million visitors annually, and the investment in the expansion of the center will contribute to attracting more retail brands to Al Ain, as well as enhancing the shopping experience in the city. The investment in the expansion will allow Aldar Properties to increase the leased area to 33,000 square meters, bringing the total leased area to 76,000 square meters of shops, noting that more than 50% of the space has been leased and tenants are looking forward to opening their shops in the new center.

The investment in the expansion of the center will contribute to attracting more retail brands to Al Ain, as well as enhancing the shopping experience in the city.
