The assets of real estate investment funds recorded a remarkable presence within the structure of public investment funds in the Saudi Stock Exchange, after its value reached about 28.9 billion riyals by the end of the third quarter of 2025, accounting for 13.3% of total fund assets, ranking third among the most capital-attracting types of investments, according to data from the CMA's Quarterly Statistical Bulletin for the third quarter of 2025.

This performance comes in the context of strong growth witnessed by the local and foreign public investment funds sector, where the total value of assets increased by an annualized rate of 36.1%, an increase of SAR 57.9 billion, to reach about SAR 217.9 billion by the end of the third quarter of 2025, compared to SAR 160.1 billion during the same period in 2024.

This performance comes in the context of strong growth witnessed by the local and foreign public investment funds sector. <On a quarterly basis, assets grew by 5.7%, equivalent to an increase of SAR 11.7 billion, compared to the level of SAR 206.2 billion at the end of the second quarter of this year, according to data from the quarterly statistical bulletin issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA). The number of subscribers in public investment funds rose to 1,593,663, achieving an annual growth of 1.5%, with an increase of more than 23 thousand subscribers compared to the same period last year.

<This growth was mainly driven by the rise in domestic investment assets, which jumped by an annualized rate of 39%, an increase of SAR 52.4 billion, reaching a total of about SAR 186.9 billion, accounting for 86% of the total asset value. On the other hand, foreign investment assets recorded an annual growth of 21.1%, an increase of more than SAR 5 billion, to reach SAR 31.1 billion, accounting for about 14.3% of total assets.
