1,239 new collective housing licenses issued in 2025

Municipalities and Housing to digitally accelerate the licensing of collective housing and Saudi architecture, and raise the efficiency of monitoring and compliance to support the 2030 targets

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has issued 1,239 new licenses for collective housing during 2025, in addition to issuing more than 1,000 licenses conforming to the requirements of Saudi architecture, within the approved municipal licensing system, within the framework of regulating urban activities and applying the relevant requirements.

The ministry explained that these licenses were issued in accordance with the approved frameworks, in the context of regulating the activities of <a href="https://amlak.net.The ministry explained that the municipal licensing system continued to develop its procedures through digital channels and approved paths, as the average time for issuing municipal licenses during 2025 reached 24 hours, while 87% of licenses were issued within 24 hours, within the approved licensing procedures.

The ministry explained that these licenses were issued in accordance with the approved frameworks and in the context of regulating the activities of a href="_COPY group housing and applying the requirements of Saudi architecture, which contributes to controlling urban practices and organizing the built environment in cities, pointing out that the municipal licensing system has continued to develop its procedures through digital channels and approved paths.

<In terms of control and follow-up, the control coverage of municipal activities reached 95%, while the compliance rate of municipal activities reached 88%, according to the approved field follow-up indicators. The regulatory work also included qualifying and classifying more than 24,000 contractors, launching more than 25 indicative contract models for municipal services through the “Baladi Business” platform, and covering 40% of municipal services with qualified service providers, within the framework of organizing and operating municipal services.

On the regulatory side, the regulatory coverage of municipal activities reached 95%. <According to the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, these works are part of its regulatory tasks for the municipal sector, developing licensing and control procedures, and updating relevant guides and requirements, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 related to organizing cities and improving the urban environment.
