There is a lot of advice and topics related to decoration, whether in decoration websites, specialized magazines, or those with experience and expertise, and many of them deal with the things that you should follow or take into account before choosing the right decorations for you, but there are rare topics that show you things you should not overlook and things you should avoid before choosing the most suitable for you. In this issue, Amlak Real Estate Newspaper will open for you, dear reader, the file of “What to avoid before you design and choose your home decorations and furniture?”.

We've selected twenty important “no's” that we think you should avoid before choosing the right decorations for your home and your life:

١- Do not make Gerk chooses About you

Your home is your personal kingdom, so don't let the advice and choices of friends and family be a source of pressure on you and force you to do what you don't like or prefer. We encourage you to listen to their opinions, but the decision is yours and yours alone.

٢- No You are doing with dye walls Home I.

This is because you don't know your choices of furniture, carpets, and antiques, so postpone painting the walls until you have chosen the style, fabrics, and furniture you want.

٣- No Decide Color Fitting for the wall Your room from Catalogs

The color of the paint may look good in the limited space in the katoolog or under the strong lights of the store, but when the entire wall is painted with it, it may be less beautiful. We recommend buying a small can of paint and trying it on a square area of about 30 cm by 30 cm of your wall.

٤- No Take Decision Immediately in solution. Slow down

The overwhelming amount of furniture, paint, and accessories can have a negative impact on your choice by making you settle for a quick finish or succumb to pressure from salespeople. Therefore, it is recommended that you take your time in making decisions regarding paint color, decor and furniture, think about your options, available stores, prices and materials, and then come back later to buy.

٥- Do not choose Color The safest Suit What love

If you love the color red, for example, do not give in to the white color because it is the safest color to choose and suits a lot of furniture, but rather adapt the color you like with what you have in your furniture and coordinate it to make room for what you like to be part of your home color.

٦- Do not make Color which love him is Basic

Adapt your favorite colors and pieces to be the focal point of the space by highlighting them. For example, if you like to paint your living room in shades of red because it's your favorite color, use beige tones as a base for the room and line the wall facing the sofa with red patterned wallpaper to highlight the beauty of red and give your room more variety and contrast.

٧- Do not ignore Flag Self in Choosing Colors

Every room in the house has its own purpose and a specific color to amplify that purpose. For example, psychology advises that bedroom colors should be calm colors of blue and green shades to inspire tranquility and calmness, unlike the living room, which is orange and yellow shades to create more activity and vitality in the place. So don't lose sight of this science in choosing the right colors in light of modern science.

٨- Don't forget that For each color Degrees Different

Not every shade of green has to be like a leaf, this color extends to shades of yellow, red, and blue, so expand your imagination and open your options to include colors you may not have thought of before.

٩- Do not match Colors

We see in a number of homes that the owners match the colors of the furniture with the paints of the walls and accessories, which loses the beauty of the pieces, so when choosing to coordinate the pieces with paints, make sure to employ contrast and harmony to highlight the beauty of the paints while not covering up the beauty of the furniture pieces.

10- Don't overlook about Point Pivotal in Rooms

Not every room has a focal point, but if your room has one or you want to highlight an important element in the room, don't overlook it, and arrange your artwork and furniture around it.

11- Do not make your furniture adjoining Walls

Don't line up furniture such as chairs, sofas and tables against the wall, as this causes the room to lose its warmth and aesthetic appeal.

12- Do not put Barriers Chill Your movement

In the paths leading to the other side of the room or in the corridors, do not place pieces of furniture and artifacts that may hinder your movement and make it difficult, leave room for easy movement and access in rooms and corridors.

13- Do not choose your furniture Depending on Figure or Fabric

Choosing furniture pieces based on the design, pattern, and color of the fabric is very risky, as form does not mean quality. Make sure the pieces you're buying are well-made, the fabric is durable, and the stitching details are perfect. It's easy to change the fabric to match your favorite fabrics, but it's the cleanliness and quality of the workmanship that matters and what it costs.

14- Do not strain Your budget By choosing What model Ledum

Just like in the world of fashion, décor has its own trends, and they don't last, so it's best not to overstretch your budget with short-lived fashion items. It is preferable to buy essential pieces that will last a long time and will not lose their luster over time, and you can follow the fashion with affordable accessories such as pillows, rugs, antiques and bedspreads.

15- Do not stay cut your furniture not identical

If you have some mismatched pieces that you've inherited or love, but they don't match and don't go together, don't leave them as they are. You can change the color of the frame or add some accessories like bedspreads and pillows that make your room look cohesive and coordinated.

16- Don't splurge Your money on cut No You need it

If there is an item that has no use or place in your home and won't last long, put your money in your pocket and don't buy it because it's a waste of money. Invest in what you need, what has more than one use and what is essential.

17- Do not keep by cutting furniture Because you Touched that you Forced on that

Many of us are often forced to live with items that are gifted to us that are not to our taste. If you find yourself in this situation, don't force yourself to accept it if you don't like it and there is no room for it in your home and life. Don't force yourself to love what you don't like.

18- Do not crowd your home With antiques and collectibles

Don't let your home become overcrowded with antiques, as this distorts the beauty of the house and makes it look disorganized, in addition to that, overcrowding a room with collectibles loses its beauty and prestige. Therefore, it is better to stick to limited pieces to show their importance and beauty and store the rest for later use in redecorating.

19-No overlooked about Details

Don't just paint the walls and distribute the furnishings, pay attention to the details to make your home decor stand out. Find a uniquely shaped side light, arrange your books in a unique way, add some pillows and bedspreads with a quirky design, and add some candles and flowers to make your home special.

20 -No Take Decision insulated about from Live with you

It is important to take the opinion of those who live with you, such as your parents, spouse, and children, because they will be sharing the space with you and it is important to make them feel comfortable. If you have different tastes, look for compromises such as dividing the rooms according to tastes or trying to merge your tastes together, but don't lose sight of consistency.

Conclusion

Remember that the process of furnishing your home and choosing paint and accessories is fun, but try to avoid what we mentioned to you to ensure that your home's beauty is consistent and complete with what you choose.
