<In a strategic move to shape the future of the media industry in the Kingdom, Dr. Abdullatif bin Mohammed Al-Abdullatif, CEO of the Saudi Media Regulatory Authority, launched two reference documents during his participation in the Saudi Media Forum 2026: «The State of Media in Saudi Arabia and Investment Opportunities» and «Saudi Society's Media Taste» report.
This step comes with the direct support of the Minister of Information, Mr. Salman Al Dosari, to empower the sector and transform it into a vital economic tributary in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

The «State of the Media Sector» report revealed an unprecedented investment movement in the Saudi market, emphasizing that digital transformation and the adoption of innovative models have become the main drivers to increase the contribution of media to GDP. The report highlighted the attractiveness of the market for foreign investment and the growing need to localize skills, noting that the high demand for high-quality local content creates promising opportunities for investors in production, distribution and digital platforms, making media a vital sector no less important than other major economic sectors.
