The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has announced an update to the decision of Settling Administrative Support Occupations in the private sector, effective April 5, 2026, as part of its efforts to enhance the participation of national competencies and provide productive job opportunities for male and female citizens in various regions of the Kingdom.

<The update includes the addition of 69 new occupations within the scope of occupations covered by 100% localization, according to the Saudi Unified Classification of Occupations. The new job titles include secretarial, writing, translation, data entry, and administrative support, and the decision applies to all establishments that employ one or more workers in these occupations.
The ministry published the updated procedural guide on its website, which clarifies the details of the new occupations and application mechanisms, calling on all establishments to adhere to the implementation of the decision to avoid regular penalties prescribed for violators.

The ministry stressed that this update comes as part of its ongoing efforts to localize specific occupations in the private sector, noting that enterprises will benefit from the support programs and incentives provided by the system, which include support for recruitment, training, qualification, employment, job stability, as well as priority access to the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) and localization support programs.
