His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Al-Qassim Region, today presided over the 24th meeting of the Executive Committee for Developmental Housing, which was dedicated to following up on developmental housing targets and projects, assessing the level of completion, and accelerating project implementation.
During the meeting, His Highness reviewed the committee’s activity report, which showed that 123 tasks had been completed at a rate of 100%. He also reviewed indicators for developmental housing in the region, which indicated the provision of 4,551 housing units, while the developmental housing project portfolio includes 20 projects totaling 4,902 housing units, of which 18 projects have been completed and two are under construction.
The Governor of Al-Qassim Region emphasized that developmental housing represents an important development pathway in providing housing stability and enhancing the quality of life for the most needy families, stressing the importance of integrating the efforts of government agencies, the nonprofit sector, and donors, and accelerating the resolution of challenges related to projects and services, thereby ensuring that housing solutions reach those who are eligible in an efficient and sustainable manner, while also strengthening community partnerships that contribute to providing more sustainable housing solutions for the most needy families.
His Highness directed that work continue to accelerate the implementation of projects, address service-related challenges, and improve coordination among relevant entities, emphasizing the importance of leveraging all available opportunities and resources to provide high-quality, sustainable housing solutions for beneficiaries of developmental housing in the region.
The meeting discussed the status of service delivery for a number of developmental housing projects, reviewed the status of tripartite agreements with civil society organizations, and followed up on the optimal use of land allocated for housing projects, as well as the development of partnerships with the nonprofit sector and donors.

The meeting reviewed the achievements of the Developmental Housing Program in Al-Qassim, which has provided 4,551 housing units and implemented 20 projects to enhance housing stability for families in need.
