«The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce Organizes a Workshop to Introduce the Implementing Regulations Governing Real Estate Ownership by Non-Saudis

Jeddah Chamber of Commerce organized a workshop yesterday in collaboration with the Ministry of Investment and the General Real Estate Authority, titled “Executive Regulations Governing Real Estate Ownership by Non-Saudis and Geographic Scopes,“ as part of sectoral committee initiatives aimed at serving business sectors and raising awareness of legislation governing the real estate sector.
Participants in the workshop included Omar Al-Mousa, Executive Director of Non-Saudi Real Estate Ownership at the General Real Estate Authority; Abdullah Al-Shammari, Director General of the Real Estate Sector at the Ministry of Investment; and Walid Al-Ghunaim, Director General of Investment Licensing at the Ministry of Investment. They reviewed the key provisions of the Executive Regulations and the geographic areas related to real estate ownership by non-Saudis, in addition to answering participants" questions.

The workshop aimed to explain the provisions of the implementing regulations and the geographical areas governing real estate ownership by non-Saudis, and to review real estate development and investment opportunities, as well as to clarify the home-ownership process for non-Saudis, thereby raising awareness of relevant regulations and procedures, supporting the real estate investment environment, and promoting the utilization of opportunities available in the sector.
