The the Council of Ministers, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, during its session held today, Tuesday, in Jeddah, to dissolve the Authority for the Development and Reconstruction of Mountainous Areas in Jazan. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Council decided to transfer the Authority’s responsibilities to the Strategic Office for the Development of the Jazan Region and the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, as part of a redistribution of responsibilities related to the development of mountainous areas in the region.
The Cabinet also approved the regulation of the General Authority for Roads, as part of the decisions it made during today’s session
The Council’s decisions come in the context of organizing the roles and responsibilities among government agencies, thereby supporting the enhancement of institutional efficiency and the coordination of development efforts across the Kingdom’s various regions.
