The Royal Commission for Riyadh has called on citizens and residents to report on construction sites and projects that are experiencing violations related to dust dispersion, as part of its efforts to promote sustainability and reduce sources of pollution in the city.

The Authority explained that monitoring and reporting these violations contributes to reducing dust plumes generated by construction sites, supporting efforts to reduce sources of pollution and improve the urban environment in Riyadh. The Authority identified several channels for receiving reports, with the report can be submitted through the “988” number dedicated to environmental reports at the National Center for the Supervision of Environmental Compliance, or through the “940” number dedicated to unified reporting of emergencies and violations in the Riyadh Region Secretariat.

The Authority also allows the submission of reports regarding these violations through the “Tokhlana” application, to facilitate the submission of reports regarding construction sites experiencing dust plumes to the competent authorities.
