The National Housing Company (NHC) announced that the completion rate for infrastructure works at the “Tabuk Hills” destination has exceeded 50%, as part of its plans to develop the urban destination located in the center of Tabuk city, on an area exceeding 2.3 million square meters, which enhances its readiness to provide an integrated residential community that includes various basic services and facilities.
The company explained that the work carried out included completing the main lines of basic service networks and rainwater drainage, completing the connection of infrastructure services related to floods and water with the relevant authorities, in addition to completing the handover of lands allocated for educational facilities and mosques, and starting the paving work according to the approved plan.
Tabuk Hills Destination
Tabuk Hills is one of the major urban developments being developed by NHC in northern Saudi Arabia. It features diverse residential units with designs that blend modernity with local cultural inspiration, aiming to provide a contemporary living environment that meets residents' needs. The development includes schools, mosques, health centers, and commercial facilities located within minutes of the residential units, serving more than 20,000 people, in addition to green spaces and public parks covering an area exceeding 233,000 square meters.
The destination also includes integrated electricity, water and sewage networks, providing the necessities of daily life within an urban environment aimed at achieving sustainability and raising the quality of life.
The National Housing Company (NHC) in Saudi Arabia is the largest real estate developer in the Middle East. Established in late 2016 as the investment arm of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the company's real estate portfolio exceeds 200 billion riyals. It has developed and launched dozens of integrated urban developments and projects across the Kingdom (including Jeddah, Dammam, and Tabuk), aiming to provide hundreds of thousands of housing units in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
NHC CEO Mohammed Al-Bati confirmed in statements made last August that the company aims to more than double its residential portfolio to exceed SAR 400 billion by 2030, compared to approximately SAR 200 billion currently, driven by continued strong demand for housing units, particularly in major Saudi cities. He added in press statements that the company also aims to increase its number of residential units to approximately 600,000 by the end of the decade, compared to approximately 300,000 units by the end of 2025, as part of its plans to expand the housing supply and support the sector's objectives.
