The Royal Commission in Jubail has embarked on several mega investments in the field of tourism as well as commercial projects, while other projects have been completed and launched with a total investment of about three billion riyals, which constitutes a real addition to the infrastructure in this field and comes in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Giant projects There are several projects that have been completed, most notably the Ras Al Fanatir project, which is a peninsula in Jubail Industrial City with an area of 270 hectares and more than five kilometers of shoreline. The project includes (500) residential units in addition to commercial, tourism and recreational facilities. The Royal Commission has supported the area with a coherent basic infrastructure that includes all major services for the general site, which has been planned to include a tourist and recreational area and a tourist park area that includes a recreational city, a yacht club, a boat marina, a marine resort and sites for distinctive tourist services such as furnished apartments, high-end cafes and restaurants overlooking the sea.
Leisure Cities Ras Al Fanatir projects also include the construction of a recreational city, where the Royal Commission has allocated a site for the establishment of a recreational city project in the Ras Al Fanatir area to a national company that has experience in the field of domestic tourism industry, while construction work is currently underway for the project, which is estimated to cover a total area of 12 hectares and this dreamy recreational city is located on the Arabian Gulf shore. A national company also completed the construction of the marine chalets project on the northern beach of Fnatir. The project, which was built according to standard and international engineering specifications, has an area of approximately (108,000) square meters, and includes (143) chalets and (10) supporting service buildings, including a mosque, restaurant, recreational club, administrative building and others. Commercial projects In the same context, the Royal Commission has supported its policy to develop the entertainment and tourism industry in Jubail Industrial City, where commercial projects are also currently under construction on the southern beach of Al Fanatir, which extends from the waterfront. The total area of the site is estimated at 8.24 hectares divided into (14) pieces for the establishment of projects aimed at serving domestic tourism such as furnished apartments, closed entertainment cities, high-end restaurants and cafes, and others, and the site is characterized by its view of the Gulf waters.
Tourism projects The most prominent tourism projects include the establishment and operation of the Marine Tank Club, where the idea of establishing the project is based on creating facilities for practicing marine sports activities that suit the marine nature of the city. There are also Mardumah Bay projects, which is located in the future city center and will be the main center of Jubail Industrial Zone, which will contain most commercial and governmental services in addition to a number of hotels, a boat marina and an international exhibition and conference center. An international exhibition and conference center is one of the most prominent tourism projects.
In the field of ecotourism, Jubail Industrial City is characterized by the presence of a number of neighboring islands that the Royal Commission pays special attention to, as some of them have been preserved in coordination with the National Authority for the Protection of the Fungal Environment and developed in their natural form in order to make them nesting areas for migratory birds and turtles, including flamingos and white-cheeked terns.
Exhibition and Convention Tourism On the other hand, the Royal Commission plans to establish exhibition and conference tourism in Jubail Industrial City to be a center for local and international exhibitions and conferences due to the availability of appropriate facilities such as high-end housing services and high-end lecture and seminar halls that reflect the civilized development of the Kingdom and the general plan for the city recommended identifying a special site on Mardoma Bay to build a center for international exhibitions and conferences.
