Informed sources in the Real Estate Development Fund explained that the registration of the new due date for the third installment of the approved loans for this year on Saturday 8/20/1434 AH is still tentative in the Fund's electronic system, provided that the disbursement date will be confirmed early next week.
The sources denied the rumors of a malfunction in the Fund's system or the lack of liquidity at the present time, which led to the postponement of the payment, stressing at the same time that the postponement is normal so that the Fund can finalize all procedures for disbursement entitlements for the beneficiaries of the third installment
She said that the number of beneficiaries of the third installment is more than 1900 male and female beneficiaries at the level of the Eastern Province, which is estimated at about one billion riyals.
For his part, a number of applicants to the Real Estate Fund in the regions of the Kingdom called for the speedy fulfillment of requests and the search for new ways to increase the number of beneficiaries in each batch.
The official data of the Real Estate Development Fund revealed that the numbers of those eligible for loans in Dammam reached 28580, Khobar 10295, Qatif 13129, Jubail 2938 and Ras Tanura 666, while the number of disbursement to the beneficiaries of the Real Estate Fund loans in Al-Ahsa reached 32739, Riyadh 162931 and Jeddah 48433
The Director General of the Real Estate Development Fund, Mohammed bin Ali Al-Abdani, approved the second installment in Jumada I, which included 10,090 loans to build approximately 12,100 housing units in the cities, governorates and centers of the Kingdom covered by the Fund's services, according to the priority of providing the loan.
Al-Abdani explained that the value of this payment amounted to five billion and forty-five million riyals and represents the second payment, while the value of the first payment amounted to five billion and 197 million riyals and represents the first installment of loans approved in the budget of the fiscal year 1434-1435 AH.
A number of citizens on the waiting lists were surprised that the Real Estate Fund delayed the announcement of the new payment, which was postponed more than once during the past month.
