Sources indicated that once the design is completed by the consulting offices, the projects will be put forward in a public competition for implementation in a short time according to the plans established by the Ministry of Housing, and the sources pointed out that the sixty projects will be on areas of up to 120 million square meters, and the sources added that the products of the Ministry of Housing will contribute to the decrease in real estate prices, whether homes, lands or rents significantly once the delivery of products begins as the supply will be more than demand during the coming period. It should be noted that the addition of 124 thousand housing units makes the Ministry of Housing the most prominent ministry in the implementation of projects, as the number will rise to about a quarter of a million housing units.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Housing will begin work in the coming days to award the first batch of its first housing projects in Taif Governorate and neighboring governorates, which includes 9,500 housing units in Taif, about 400 units in Tarbah Governorate, and 520 units in Raniyah.
This project, which will solve a major housing crisis in the region, is based on an area of about 20 million square meters in the governorates of Taif, Maysan, Muwaiya, Tarbah, Kharma and Raniyah.
The Taif Municipality is also doing its part in providing areas of land to be handed over to the Ministry of Housing; with the aim of establishing more housing units, after it was requested to do so; following the issuance of the Royal Decree, the Municipality has identified a total of 12 million square meters handed over to the Ministry of Housing, which are available areas for the establishment of housing projects ...
