In a strategic partnership with the Royal Commission in Jubail, the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce is organizing the “Jubail Investment Forum,” under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef, Governor of the Eastern Province, on December 17 and 18 at the King Abdullah Cultural Center in Jubail Industrial City.

Abdulrahman Al-Ateishan, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, confirmed the participation of major international and national companies as well as relevant government agencies, noting that an exhibition accompanying the forum will feature sponsoring companies and government entities involved in investment matters..

Al-Ateishan said: “The forum will feature a number of experts and specialists in economic affairs who will highlight the importance of Jubail Province in several areas, as well as the vast and diverse investment opportunities it offers, in addition to Jubail’s comparative advantage in attracting capital and major companies.

Al-Ateishan explained that the forum aims to highlight the province’s role in achieving Saudi Vision 2030, strengthen the private sector’s role in the national economy, and cement the concept of the Eastern Province as the industrial capital of the Gulf, and to attract Gulf and global investments to the city of Jubail, in addition to maximizing the benefits of the province’s competitive advantages. He noted the Chamber’s ongoing preparations to organize the forum in accordance with the high standards to which the Chamber has become accustomed when organizing its events.

The Chamber’s Chairman emphasized that Jubail is one of the region’s most important cities from an investment perspective, as it offers numerous investment opportunities across a range of economic activities. It is located in the eastern part of the Kingdom on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, 100 km north of Dammam, the capital of the Eastern Province, This unique location provides it with two important advantages: its proximity to international maritime routes on the Gulf—it is home to two ports (commercial and industrial)—and its proximity to energy sources and raw materials necessary for the refining and petrochemical industries, as well as supporting industries and various economic and development activities related to these sectors, making this city a premier investment hub.
