Dubai Land Department awarded the International Standard Certificate for Business Continuity Management System

<Dubai Land Department (DLD) and its affiliated organizations have announced that they have obtained the International Standard for Business Continuity Management System (ISO 22301:2012). This was announced during the closing session of the external audit recently, after DLD was able to pass all the technical evaluation and audit phases of the certificate.

Our implementation of the continuity management system is part of the efforts made by all our employees to align all our operations with the directives of the Dubai government and its wise leadership to achieve the highest levels of performance and help the emirate maintain its distinguished position and reputation around the world.”

Mohammed Sultan Thani Thani, Director General of DLD, said: “This new certificate confirms our keenness to apply the best standards and specifications, leading our department and its various organizations to achieve organizational excellence and quality. <Mohammed Sultan Thani, Supervisor of the Services Control Sector at DLD, said: ”The importance of obtaining this certificate lies in confirming DLD's readiness to serve its customers and business continuity during crises and emergencies and putting all capabilities in place to ensure uninterrupted service and minimize the impact of the interruption if it occurs, which is undoubtedly evidence of DLD's keenness to provide the best services to its customers. The Department obtained this certificate in record time due to the efforts of the Department's Business Continuity and Emergency team and all the concerned departments of the Department, which provided a lot of effort, time and preparations to comply with the standards of the international standard.“

It is noteworthy that the international standard has been adopted by the Department. <The ISO 22301:2012 International Standard for Business Continuity Management aims to ensure that critical services are not interrupted and are continuously improved to prepare, respond and recover from emergency events as soon as they occur. <Bin Mejren added: ”The Department's achievement of this certificate represents a new addition to its record of achievements, and this makes it imperative for us to exert all possible efforts to move forward in order to continue to excel.
