The Murcia housing project, located in the Al-Jawan residential suburb of Riyadh, has begun accepting reservations for residential units in the Media District, situated within the Al-Sahafa neighborhood. Reservations will be open for 60 days to beneficiaries of the Sakani program who hold a media card. After this period, reservations will be open to other eligible beneficiaries. The district offers more than 800 residential units of various designs within a comprehensive residential environment with complete facilities and services.

The “Mursia” project, which spans an area of more than 2.7 million square meters, provides approximately 4,714 villa-type residential units and 552 apartment-type units. It is distinguished by its location north of the capital, Riyadh, and provides integrated services that achieve the concept of model housing and modern living. It is also distinguished by its architectural design, as it includes an artificial valley and a number of green spaces that make the project a landmark of the city of Riyadh, in addition to commercial, health, social, and recreational facilities, schools, kindergartens, banks, mosques, sports clubs, and others.

The partnership agreement between "Housing" and “Media” includes providing several services and facilities for media workers and employees of the Ministry of Media and its affiliated entities, and a package of special benefits for holders of the Media Professional Card, which is issued through the dedicated electronic platform, and the possibility of benefiting from the residential neighborhoods for media professionals, which are distributed in their first phase within the major residential suburbs in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, in accordance with the requirements and standards of the ”Sakani” program.

The “Sakani” program, represented by the Institutional Housing Department, recently held a workshop with a number of male and female media professionals to discuss plans for developing the Media District in Riyadh, and ways to create a media community that is characterized by a suitable lifestyle and unique and stimulating housing and facilities that contribute to making it the best destination for media professionals. The workshop reviewed the needs and aspirations of media professionals and the nature of activities suitable for media professionals and their families.
