Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Engineer Majid Al-Hogail issued a decision to suspend the decision to amend agricultural land use in seven regions (Al-Baha, Najran, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Tabuk, Qassim, Jazan, Northern Borders) for six months until the completion of strategic planning studies for the mentioned cities. The Ministry had previously given wide powers to the secretaries of the mentioned areas to approve the amendment of agricultural land uses located within the development stages in accordance with the use specified in the indicative plan.
