The International Building and Construction Exhibition (The Big Five), organized by the Saudi Exports Development Authority (Saudi Exports) in Jeddah from March 9-12, will kick off on Monday, under the auspices of Amlak Real Estate Newspaper.

Saudi Exports is organizing the exhibition to be a favorable opportunity to highlight Saudi products for building and construction materials, which have economic advantages that make them competitive with their counterparts in the Middle East, and promote the Kingdom's exports of building and construction materials to the Gulf State and all international markets, especially since the Gulf construction sector market accommodates a wide range of real estate projects, and the exhibition targets all segments of the market working in the fields of construction, contracting and construction, and is expected to witness wide participation from companies and interested parties due to the movement expected to increase in the coming period for the contracting and construction sector due to the changes in the real estate sector.

In the same context, the exhibition has approved the organization of the first workshop for women on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) system within the activities of this year's session.

The workshop, scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Jeddah Gateway, will help establish the structure of the LEED rating system and learn about the program's minimum requirements while discussing the overall certification process.

The exhibition will be an opportunity to meet with decision makers and network directly with different segments of the building and urbanization industry with the aim of finding distributors and agents for the company worldwide.
